EUGENE STUDIO's first solo exhibition at a museum in Japan, at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo - Paintings and sculptures exploring "the future"
"EUGENE STUDIO is a Japan-based artist studio by Eugene Kangawa, born in the U.S. in 1989. Not only has he received high acclaim for his work in Japan and abroad, but he is also gaining international recognition for his wide-ranging activities based on free ideas, such as collaborating with Ken Liu, one of America's leading contemporary science fiction novelists, and creating "Phantosia", a Noh installation that takes place in complete darkness. The exhibition "EUGENE STUDIO After the rainbow" is the first solo exhibition by Eugene Studio at a museum in Japan. It is also the first solo exhibition by a Heisei-born artist at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo."
